Version 1.8.5 is the latest update for Crypchania. Is has some additional changes of the gameplay, alot of grammer fixes and a few towns are expended with new content and sidequests.

I wanted to create some backstory for our hero. The main reason is to send your hero on an adventure with his bsckstory in mind. The more artistic approuch didn't turn out the way it was with fragments during your adventure. However because the adventure has some big gaps before the next fragments were presented players could loose their interest in the hero. It's the same concept like the assasins creed serie where you forgot you are in a simulator and you just pop-up out of the dream, destroying the whole experience by waking up. It would work but only between a short time, not after hours and hours of gameplay when you are sucked in and pucked out.

In my case I took all the fragments together and arranged it in the opening scene. After that there is a shorter tutorial about what to expect of you as a player to play the game.
